Abstract:

This article identifies different cultural frames to gain action on social initiatives. The article uses a case study of a semiconductor manufacturer and the air pollution issue to illustrate one of the frameworks. The implications of cultural framing for both organizational change and the link between financial and social performance are addressed in the conclusion.
