Abstract:

The International Peace Forum (IPF) takes as its founding principle that businesses are socially responsibility to the communities in which they operate, a responsibility which must be incorporated into long-term business strategy. Among other things, IPF works with corporations to create responsible and effective peacebuilding initiatives, convenes conferences, provides information, and helps build partnerships. IPF also “contributes to the groundbreaking analysis of corporations in areas of conflict for the purposes of socially responsible investing”.
