Abstract:
What does it take to nurture corporate values, embed values in everyday decisions, and reap the benefits? Take specific steps to create alignment between your values and your management practices. Corporations that put their values to work don't view values statements as a necessary evil or an irrelevant part of the business, but rather as a way to focus employees on how best to serve the company's needs. The authors suggest 10 ways in which managers can act to make values a living part of the organization and to make clear the ties between company values and business value.
