Abstract:

The case looks at the company Diligent, which produces biodiesel in a sustainable way. Diligent extracts this biodiesel out of the seeds of the Jatropha-bush. The case offers the higher vocational education network the possibility to let students work on business-competences. By doing so they are confronted with important global questions and challenges. The case gives insight in themes such as innovative entrepenuership, the Kyoto-protocol and biofuels.
