ENTERPRISE SUSTAINABILITY TRACK
How organizations interact with the natural and human environment is a critical factor in their survival and success. This applies to both for-profit and non-profit organizations. No organization can operate independently of issues related to climate change, energy scarcity and security, consumption of non-renewable resources, ecosystem degradation, global shortages of food and safe drinking water, and the expanding world population and resulting economic dislocations.
The Fisher College of Business, and The Ohio State University, offers future business leaders in the private and public sectors significant opportunities to gain knowledge and skills for managing enterprises facing complex, global sustainability issues.
You will explore and learn the strategic responses to these issues to create business opportunities and competitive advantage. Courses will offer you both instruction in diverse aspects of sustainability and hands-on project opportunities working with companies and non-profit organizations facing sustainability challenges. Through your work, you will have the opportunity for extensive interaction with executives from a wide variety of organizations and industries that are developing and integrating sustainable best practices into their organizations.
