Abstract:
After four months in his first job after college graduation, Lou Neuman realized that he needed to leave and work for himself. He started a computer consulting company, offering on-site training in Peachtree Accounting software for small businesses. Fifteen months later, he had two employees and had expanded his services to include ACT! Contact management software as well as general computing support. He needed to decide what to do with the business next. He had a number of ideas for growth but also considered starting a different type of business, or even leaving the business to work full-time on an MBA.
